Grind and Seal
A Grind and Seal floor is a cost effective method of achieving a 'polished concrete’ look. Even though I have referred to Grind and Seal as a “polished concrete look” please understand that both finishes are completely different.
A Grind and Seal finish is achieved by machine grinding the concrete floor to the desired exposure followed by a Surface Sealer in either Acrylic, Epoxy or Polyurethane to give the concrete a matt, satin or gloss look.
At SS Floors we use a range of high quality clear sealers to suit desired look and functionality of the floor. Ideal for every concrete surface including exposed aggregate.
Our coatings have a non-slip additive which improves the strength and durability of our floors.
SS Floors Grind and Seal is suitable for homes, showrooms, retail outlets, factories, warehouses, offices and commercial properties such as shopping centres. It is also suitable for outdoor conditions where we use a penetrating sealer with a matt finish.
